Gingivitis-What is it
Just because you have a set of perfectly white teeth, it does not mean that your oral health is okay. Even if you have the luxury to flaunt those immaculately white teeth in every smile, this does not exempt you from a number of tooth and gum diseases. So if you have sore, soft, and swollen gums which bleed whenever you brush it, you could be suffering from what oral doctors call gingivitis. Yet it is important to note that bleeding gums does not necessarily mean that you are already suffering this dreaded oral sickness. Sometimes, it is a signal that your mouth needs attention since it is unhealthy. Now, what are ways to prevent gum ailments such as this from getting worse? To stop gingivitis on its tracks, you must make it a habit to floss and brush your teeth regularly. Aside from this, you have to periodically set a schedule with your family dentist or doctor and pamper your teeth as you have it cleaned.
